Mid Month Inspiration TTC#9 | Tejal

Hello folks,
Welcome to my 2nd post of the month, the mid month inspiration! If you haven't already checked out the previous posts, please do! And do check out the amazing inspirations from my team members and our Guest Designer this month..Check out the main challenge post here for our March theme - Be Grateful/Thankful + Use all colors of the rainbow! 

I can never have enough thank you cards on hand, and just for that reason, I loved the theme. There is always someone, something to be thankful for! Soo, as a bonus, I do have a second card which I made along with this, on my blog!

The process is very simple...

• I have stenciled distress oxides through a MFT sunrays stencil, 
• then die cut the main rainbow panel, with Gina Marie rounded rectangle dies.
• Die cut the word Awesome, die from Lil Inkers Design. Stamped and heat embossed the sentiment from Lil Inkers and glued it on the panel.
• Stamped, copic colored and fussy cut the butterfly from SSS stamp, Beautiful day. 
• Glued the rainbow panel on a A2 card. 
• The butterfly has loads of shimmer from Spectrum noir shimmer pens..but can't capture in photo!

Mid Month Inspiration #TTC 9

Hi Everyone,

Hoping that the change in weather is keeping your spirits high and that you all are well prepared for the summer onset which is arriving soon !!

Summers bring in mixed feelings....while the weather can be really unpleasant (specially with the humidity issue in Mumbai), the summer clothing and summer colours are soothing to our sensory nerves...and keeping that in mind we have our March challenge Be Thankful/ Grafteful + Use all colors of Rainbow!

As the mid month inspiration I have a very simple CAS card ...sometimes less is more and thats what this card emphasises!!!

I have taken a black card base and layered it with a script pattern paper from DCWV. Sprinkled it with red and green dots with a help of a paint brush and layered in the feather stamped image coloured in the rainbow colours.

The image has been stacked up with multiple layers of diet cuts to give it dimension. Post that I have taken a black strip and hand written the sentiment 'Thanks' with my white signo uniball pen and stuck it at the middle of the raised feather image.

TTC#9 - Be Thankful/ Grafteful + Use all colors of Rainbow!

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to the March edition of The Twisted Challenges! We are simply blown away by your Valentine entries! We thought we had set a tough one, but all of you are knocking it right out of the park! Simply amazing! You guys make it so hard for us to pick a winner!

Coming back to the new Challenge, since summer is gently or in some cases, crazily advancing on us..colors will be blooming everywhere...we decided we want loads of colors in our challenge this month!
This month we are asking you to create a project with Grateful / Thankful as the theme while using all 7 colors of the rainbow!

We have a beautiful array of inspirations for you this month, starting with the ever amazing and someone who never ceases to amaze us with her projects, Sathya!

She has a beautiful embossed background in rainbow colors and a simple Thank you sentiment..to keep the focus on the background! Stunner!! That's what it is!

We have Saumya with another fabulous project.. Look at that cascading rainbow of flowers!! And the staggered sentiment..Isn't it stunning?

Neha is sharing another amazing art journal with us expressing gratitude towards those countless war heroes.

Last but not the least, Tejal shares her colorful project..Love the colored Thanks with the little pups around! Truly a cutesy project...
