Mid month Inspiration TTC#4 - Tejal

Hello Everyone,

Tejal here today and welcome to my mid month Inspiration post.

We are loving your entries for this challenge. And I am enjoying this challenge so much that I couldn't stop at one card. Yep, I again made two cards to share with you today!

My reason for sharing two cards is to showcase two different ways to create a monochromatic layering.
If you go back and check my inspiration for the Challenge post, I made two cards using Distress oxides and heat embossing the stamped design.

Today I am showing you two more ways on how to create monochrome effect using dies, embossing folders, colored cardstock and patterned paper.

Lets dive in..

So the first card I am sharing uses embossing folder and dies.
I embossed the purple cardstock and matted it to my card base. Using spellbinder dies and coordinating stamps, I created the center sentiment panel. And of course i had to add some pretty butterflies.
All the stamping was done with distress oxide ink, Wilted violet.

The second card uses only patterned paper and cardstock to create layers for the card.

I layered yellow cardstock with striped and polka dot pattern paper.
Stamped and colored a cupcake with my copics and created a frame with white cardstock to pop up the cupcake.

Well, there you go. Easy ways to create Monochrome cards for our ongoing Challenge. I do hope you are inspired and I have given you more ideas for you to  join the challenge!

Don't forget to check out our Challenge post , as well as inspirations from the TTC team.

Min Month Inspiration #TTC4

Hi Friends,

This is Dr. Neha here with a mid-month inspiration for this month's challenge "Celebration + Monochrome". No celebration is complete without sweets, so lets celebrate with a piece of cake.

I printed a digital stamp from Yampuff on a 160 gsm paper and colored it using Creta Color pencils in shades of purple. I fussy the image and adhered it on Little Birdie Mixed Media Journal and finished it by adding a sentiment.

I hope you liked this simple and fun art journal page and are inspired to join our "Celebrations + Monochrome" challenge. Last date to enter is 30th September.

Mid Month Inspiration - Tejal

Hello everyone,

Tejal here, I am a little late posting a 2nd inspiration this month for the TTC#3 challenge. But better late than never..
So I am still in love with my MFT (My Favorite Things) cuties and I used them to make this card.

I have used my two cuties to replace the G in the HUGS!

I even added some shimmer on the alphabets. It looks awesome and shimmery in real life don't do it justice.

I could not stop at just one card, so I ended up making a tag too!

I hope you have checked out Neha's and Saumya's inspirations and left some love for them.
I have all the details on my blog, if you are interested in knowing how I made this.

The challenge ends on 31st, hope you do join us in  The Twisted Challenges 3: Go Bold + Replace Me

Till the next challenge!

Mid Month Challenge # 3

Hi All,

Saumya here to inspire you further with my projects. I love partying and gifts are sometimes a main part of a lots of these parties. I love gift wrapping and making my owns gift bags and tags along with a card. So today am showcasing those!!!

Last time I replaced the 'A' in 'Happy' so this time I thought of replacing the 'Y' with a similar image that I used last time but by turning it upside down. Signifying the happy head over heels excitement for the birthday party!

I have also replaced my 'I' in 'Birthday' with an ice cream and the 'Y' with a cute rabbit. These replacements signify some personal touches for the little girl I plan to gift it to, she loves Ice cream and has a pet rabbit who is also her best friend.

Gift Bag:

Sometimes saying thanks after a party or just showing one's love and appreciation to someone is very important. So this gift bag serves the purpose and I have replaced 'T' from the 'Thanks' with a sweet girl holding a fully bloomed flower offering her appreciation.

Bottle Tags:

Tags can also speak a thousands words in a gift here is my tag speaking about a gang of friends showing their love and appreciation to someone special on his/her special day.

I have replaced 'O' from the word 'From' with a flower embellishment, below which the gang can sign their names.

You can think of ways your embellishments can be a part of this replacement challenge too.

I hope these inspire you with ideas for your projects to take part in our August Challenge
